More fighting in the Somali capital of Mogadishu left at least three people dead Thursday. Violence has become a part of the daily routine in the city as 129 civilians have been killed in the last month alone.

Israel has ordered the confiscation of 110 hectares of land belonging to five Palestinian villages located between East Jerusalem and the West Bank even though leaders from both camps are currently collaborating on a document to be presented at a November peace conference.
