06.03.2007 Si è concluso la scorsa settimana in Mali il "Forum mondiale per la Sovranità Alimentare" al quale hanno partecipato oltre 500 delegati da 80 paesi che hanno dichiarato il proprio impegno per un mondo dove siano i popoli a definire i propri sistemi alimentari e dove vengano riconosciuti i diritti e il ruolo delle donne nella produzione agricola. E sempre nel Mali, a Bamako, la viceministro agli Affari esteri, Patrizia Sentinelli tra gli impegni della cooperazione italiana in Africa occidentale ha sottolineato il sostegno alle reti transazionali specializzate come quelle nel settore agricolo dando una particolare attenzione al ruolo delle nuove generazioni di donne e delle donne africane della diaspora che hanno costruito reti e ponti di collegamento con i loro Paesi d'origine".
