L’autrice de “L’immaginario violato”, il libro che l’ha resa famosa in tutto il mondo, ha confermato la sua presenza a “L’AltrAfrica: il G8 al femminile”, tavola rotonda che si svolgerà il 30 aprile alle 20,30, insieme ad altre sette donne africane.

21.04.2004 The United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) had to open a second disarmament camp in the city of Buchanan on Tuesday to accomodate combatants who showed up to in their weapons. More camps will be opened by the end of the month.

Ciudad de Walata
08.04.2004 La ciudad de Walata (Mauritania), considerada patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO, tiene una herencia cultural extraordinaria. La Fundació Solidaritat UB y Món-3 llevan a cabo un proyecto de promoción de su legado histórico y cultural para así reforzar la cohesión de la población y recuperar socioeconómicamente la región. La preservación del patrimonio arquitectónico, escrito, oral y arqueológico de Walata y la gestión de un turismo sostenible y respetuoso con el medio ambiente son las diferentes áreas de actuación del proyecto.

La preservació del patrimoni arquitectònic, escrit, oral i arqueològic de Walata i la gestió d'un turisme sostenible i respectuós amb el medi són les diferents àrees d'actuació del projecte.
