26.03.2003 El Tribunal Superior d'Apel·lacions de la sharia de Katsina (Nigèria) ha ajornat, fins al 3 de juny, la vista del recurs contra la condemna a mort d'Amina Lawal, acusada d'adulteri. El 22 de març del 2002, Lawal va ser sentenciada a morir per lapidació i la sentència, confirmada a l'agost, hauria d'executar-se el 2004. Amnistia Internacional continuarà recollint signatures per salvar la seva vida i la d'altres condemnats a mort pel mateix mètode. Fins ara se n'han aconseguit un total de 3.572.000.

26.03.2003 El Tribunal Superior de Apelaciones de la sharia de Katsina (Nigeria) ha aplazado hasta el 3 de junio la vista del recurso contra la condena a muerte de Amina Lawal, acusada de adulterio. El 22 de marzo de 2002, fue sentenciada a morir por lapidación y el fallo, confirmado en agosto, debería ejecutarse en 2004. Amnistía Internacional continuará recogiendo firmas para salvar su vida y la de otros condenados a muerte por el mismo método. Hasta ahora se han presentado 3.572.000 firmas.
