26.02.2008 The Chipata District Women’s Association in Zambia's Eastern Province is a community group set up by women to help them improve their livelihood. The association provides support to women in learning new skills, improving their capacity to earn more income and live healthier lives.

26.02.2008 In the absence of a reliable supply of other energy sources, the Zimbawean Government has launched a programme to promote the use of solar energy as an alternative source of energy for computers in schools around the country, in conjunction with Mukonitronics Private Limited. The programme to be spread to all the country's provinces is also being implemented with the Zimbabwe Academic Research Network.
