17.09.2007 Zimbabwen ammatillinen keskusjärjestö on ilmoittanut järjestävänsä toisen valtakunnallisen työnseisauksen syyskuun 19.-20. päivinä. Edellinen työnseisaus pidettiin huhtikuussa, minkä jälkeen inflaatio on kivunnut lähes 8000 prosenttiin. Hallitus on ilmoittanut, ettei se aio "vain istua ja katsoa, kun ammattiliitto rampauttaa Zimbabwen lakkoilullaan".
