Kastiton Parvati Tamrakar tietää, että kastittomat kokevat yhä syrjintää Länsi-Nepalin maaseudulla. Tänä päivänä kastittomien perheiden suurin ongelma on köyhyys. Toimeentulon hankkimista vaikeuttaa se, että kastittomat eivät saa valita vapaasti ammattiaan. Parvati Tamrakar kuitenkin uskoo parempaan tulevaisuuteen ja säästää pientä pääomaa naisryhmän yhteiseen kassaan.
