27.02.2007 Kako je prenio Novi list, odlukom Hrvatskog zavoda za zdravstveno osiguranje (HZZO), dječacima mlađim od sedam godina za lijekove na godišnjoj razini pripada oko trinaest posto veći iznos nego djevojčicama iste dobi. To je pak, kako navode u HZZO, utemeljeno na realnim podacima o potrošnji lijekova u prošloj godini, prema kojima su dječaci naprosto trošili više.

23.02.2007 "Un governo autorevole, deciso a proseguire con ancora maggiore determinazione nella costruzione di una politica di pace e dei diritti umani. E il rispetto del voto degli elettori e del programma che hanno sostenuto". E' quanto chiede la Tavola della Pace che, a conclusione del seminario del Comitato Direttivo - ribadisce il sostegno al Governo Prodi espresso dopo il voto al Senato. "Come ha evidenziato la relazione del Ministro degli Esteri e il dibattito del Senato, la politica estera dell'Italia sta cambiando, contribuendo al superamento dell'unilateralismo e della logica della guerra". Nel ribadire la propria "autonomia e indipendenza da qualsiasi schieramento e forza politica", la Tavola manifesta "forte preoccupazione per i commenti politici che ignorano e travisano le vere cause della crisi". Sottolineando che "non c'è nessuna relazione tra la manifestazione di Vicenza e il voto del Senato" rivendica il diritto democratico di contestare un provvedimento che non condivide.

Non c'è nessun motivo per trasformare il voto di oggi in una crisi politica generale" - afferma un comunicato della Tavola della Pace e diverse associazioni, reti e ong italiane. "Intervenendo al Senato il Ministro degli Esteri D'Alema ha evidenziato gli elementi di discontinuità che caratterizzano la politica estera del nostro governo indicando alcuni importanti impegni e obiettivi che debbono essere portati avanti con ancora più determinazione insieme alle organizzazioni della società civile e agli enti locali che nel nostro paese operano in tanti per la pace, i diritti umani e la giustizia" - riporta il comunicato. Di fronte alla grave crisi politica la Tavola della pace ha indetto per domani venerdì 23 febbraio alle 11,30 una Conferenza stampa a Roma presso la Sala Capranichetta (Piazza Montecitorio) per illustrare la propria posizione e le proprie proposte.

22.02.2007 Kako je priopćio Transparency international Hrvatska (TIH), nacrt prijedloga Zakona o tajnosti podataka koji je hrvatska Vlada uputila u saborsku proceduru mogao bi u sadašnjem obliku učiniti Zakon o pravu na pristup informacijama potpuno besmislenim i dovesti u pitanje daljnji razvoj demokracije u Hrvatskoj. U predloženom nacrtu postoji cijeli niz rješenja koja bi se mogla u praksi zloupotrijebiti, dovesti do zatvaranja tijela javne vlasti prema građanima i onemogućiti građane u ostvarivanju jednog od svojih temeljnih prava – prava na informaciju.
