13.04.2007 La 'Campagna per la riforma della Banca mondiale' (CRBM) appoggia la richiesta di dimissioni del Presidente Paul Wolfowitz formulata dall’organizzazione dei dipendenti della Banca mondiale, "auspicando che, qualora l’ex sottosegretario alla Difesa Usa non se ne vada di sua spontanea volontà, a risolvere la questione ci pensi il board dell’istituzione che si riunirà sabato". Ieri Wolfowitz ha ammesso di aver favorito la sua compagna Shaha Riza, che nel giro di pochi mesi con il trasferimento al Dipartimento di Stato si è vista aumentare lo stipendio da 132.000 dollari, a 193.000 dollari, più di quanto prende il segretario di Stato Condoleezza Rice. Il CdA della World Bank ha aggiornato la riunione per valutare il caso.
