06.12.2007 Deep-rooted social attitudes, practices and stereotyping are hampering progress towards dealing with the spread of HIV/AIDS in Pakistan. A cultural tradition of exchanged marriages known as ‘watta satta’ makes it almost impossible for women to disclose their HIV status.

03.12.2007 E' in pieno svolgimento a Padova la seconda edizione di "Diritti+Umani", evento-contenitore per promuovere "una forte azione coordinata e sistematica di sensibilizzazione sui diritti umani rivolta alla città di Padova". Dopo le serate con Gabriella Simoni (inviata speciale TG5), Milton Fernandez (autore di “L’ Argonauta”), Christina Ali Farah (autrice di “Madre Piccola”) e la giornata del 30 novembre contro la pena di morte nel mondo e del 1 dicembre su "Giovani e Aids", il programma prosegue con l'incontro con Hamid Ziarati (autore di “Salam Maman!”), il convegno di venerdì 7 dicembre su "Quali diritti in Iran?" e, lunedì 10 dicembre con la "Seconda giornata della Cooperazione Internazionale". Ma la rassegna prevede anche cinema, teatro, musica, mostre e percorsi per le scuole.
