20.04.2006 Savez zenskih organizacija u Makedoniji (SOZM) održao je radionicu u okviru medijskog projekta Žene to mogu. Na radionici je zaključeno da mediji igraju odlučujuću i ključnu ulogu u kreiranju javnog mnjenja i informisanju na polju jednakosti polova, ali da je pre svega neophodno da se poveća senzitivnost za rodna pitanja u medijima.

Dozens of them remain in prison today, serving sentences as long as 20 years. The World Association of Newspapers (WAN) is organising the World Press Freedom Day on May 3, 2006 to highlight the plight of journalists facing abuse.

10.04.2006 Four daily papers in Kosovo and four in Serbia, have been monitored, by the member NGO’s of the Kosovo Initiative Program (KIP), which is supported by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), on the manner of reporting on return field, Kosovo’s status and Kai Eide’s report. Project has been led by the nongovernmental organization "Initiative for Peace" in cooperation with NGO “Sfida" in Kosovo, and "Fractal" as well as SDF from Belgrade. The project was supported by the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network- BIRN offices in Prishtina and London.

Ky projekt është udhëhequr nga Organizata Jo-Qeveritare "Iniciativa për Paqe" në bashkëpunim me OJQ-të “Sfida" në Kosovë, dhe "Fractal" si dhe SDF nga Beogradi, kurse profesionalisht ky projekt është përkrahur nga Rrjeti Ballkanik për Gazetari Hulumtuese (BIRN) me zyrat e saj në Prishtinë dhe Londër.
