Gjatė intervistės u diskutua edhe pėr prezantimin e njė vaksine tė re kundėr koncerit nė uterus, ku Dr. Haller tha qė pėr kėtė vaksinė do tė diskutohet nė shumė nivele, duke pėrfshirė edhe kishėn katolike.

Last week, the Novi List daily published and interview with Herman Haller, Director of Clinical Centre Rijeka. In the interview that discussed the introduction of a vaccine for cancer of the uterus, Dr. Haller said that the official introduction of this vaccine should be discussed at many levels, including a discussion with the (Catholic) Church.

The Macedonian Network for Reduction of Drug-Abuse (MNRDA), led by non-governmental organizations Trust (Doverba), HOPS-Healthy Living Options Skopje, and Pasage, protested the suspended process for dispersion of centres for prevention and treatment of drug-addicts in Skopje. The organizations claim that the continued postponement of the opening of the centres further jeopardizes the health of a huge number of addicts.

As experts concede that there are gaps in their knowledge of the role played by wild migratory birds in the spread of bird flu to over 50 countries in 3 continents, the Food and Agriculture Organisation proposes a plan to track their migratory patterns and monitor the spread of the disease.

Con un documento finale non vincolante che ha sollevato reazioni contrastanti si č conclusa la II Conferenza dell'Onu sullAids a 5 anni dalla sottoscrizione di un piano globale per far fronte a un'emergenza globale. Un documento troppo vago e debole secondo le organizzazioni non governative (ong) presenti alla Conferenza di New York. E indicato l'obiettivo di una triplicazione dei fondi per combattere l'epidemia, ma lAssemblea non č riuscita a trovare un accordo su impegni concreti dei singoli paesi e un calendario per l'arrivo dei contributi. La conferenza č stata perņ loccasione per la presentazione ufficiale di Unitaids, un fondo internazionale per lacquisto di medicine contro la sindrome d'immunodeficienza, la malaria e la tubercolosi che potrą essere finanziato anche con una particolare tassa a carico delle compagnie aeree. Intanto lOrganizzazione Mondiale della Sanitą ha raggiunto un importante accordo per regolare la Ricerca e Sviluppo nei settori prioritari ed essenziali della salute pubblica (R&S).
