12.08.2006 Per le vacanze la Lav invita a proteggersi scegliendo di salvaguardare la propria pelle ma anche quella degli animali, preferendo prodotti solari non sperimentati su animali. Per scegliere consapevolmente si puņ consultare la nuova "Guida pratica al Non Testato su Animali" disponibile on line che indica sia aziende nazionali che aziende cosmetiche straniere i cui prodotti sono distribuiti in Italia. "I solari e i numerosi altri cosmetici non testati su animali, sono prodotti sicuri e di grande efficacia, inoltre hanno un importante valore aggiunto perché rispondono all'esigenza etica di 'salvare la pelle' a migliaia di animali ancora oggi sottoposti a esperimenti cruenti per i quali esistono invece valide alternative scientifiche utilizzate da numerose aziende all'avanguardia" - dichiara Roberta Bartocci della LAV. Oggi sono disponibili circa 10mila sostanze utilizzabili dall'industria cosmetica per formulare i propri prodotti: se tutte le aziende sottoscrivessero lo Standard cesserebbero i test cosmetici su animali.
