21.11.2006 La campagna "La mia spesa per la Pace", coerentemente con il suo intento di contribuire a costruire la Pace con scelte di consumo critico nella spesa quotidiana, invita a non fare acquisti per 24 ore sabato 25 novembre 2006. La Giornata del non acquisto (Buy Nothing day) è una giornata dedicata a tutto tranne che alle compere per rendere concreto il dissenso verso il consumismo e smascherare le bugie di chi usa ogni mezzo per convincerci che l’unica via per uscire dalla crisi è tenere alti i consumi. Questa Giornata è una iniziativa mondiale, lanciata nel 1992 da Adbuster in Canada, per ricordarci che non siamo nati per comprare, è una occasione per riflettere sui nostri consumi e sulle loro implicazioni. Anche la Campagna Bilanci di Giustizia invita tutti i suoi aderenti e amici a vivere in prima persona questa Giornata, con la propria famiglia e con i propri amici.

15.11.2006 Liikunnan Kehitysyhteistyö LiiKe ry on päättänyt myöntää vuoden 2006 LiiKe -palkinnon Suomen Ammattiliittojen Solidaarisuuskeskus SASK:lle. Vuoden LiiKe -palkinto myönnetään merkittävästä työstä Liikunnan Kehitysyhteistyön hyväksi. "SASK on tuonut voimakkaasti esiin eettisyyden liikuntavälineiden valmistusprosesseissa", toteaa LiiKen puheenjohtaja Kimmo Kiljunen.
