20.02.2007 Kansainvälinen WWF on tyrmistynyt Suomen kielteisestä suhtautumisesta EU:n päästövähennyssuunnitelmiin. Euroopan komissio on esittänyt EU:n kasvihuonekaasujen vähentämistä 20 prosentilla vuoteen 2020 mennessä.

Taxing carbon pollution a solution
14.02.2007 from timesunion:

02.02.2007 Greenpeace campaigners dumped four tonnes of coal on the doorstep of the environment department this morning. They said that despite today's UN report that the world is on the verge of climate catastrophe, the Prime Minister was ushering in a new generation of coal-fired power stations that will still be pumping out greenhouse gases in 50 years' time.
