Kehittyvien maiden välinen Tieteen, Teknologian ja Innovaation keskus päätettiin perustaa YK:n johdolla Malesiaan. Malesian ministeriön hallinnoima keskus tukee Etelä-Etelä -välistä teknologian siirtoa, säännösten luomista sekä maiden välistä tutkimusta ja yhteistyötä.
