11.04.2006 Il governo boliviano è alla prese con una nuova serie di scioperi, dopo quello indetto la settimana scorsa dagli autotrasportatori interdipartimentali e conclusosi con una sostanziale vittoria dell’esecutivo. L’intera città di Cochabamba, nel centro del Paese, è entrata oggi in sciopero generale per chiedere al governo di trovare una soluzione alla vertenza dei lavoratori della compagnia aerea privata ‘Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano’ (Lab), che rischia di fallire a causa dei pesanti debiti accumulati e per la presunta corruzione dei dirigenti dell’azienda -riporta l'agenzia Misna. Intanto, la Legge 3065, approvata dal precedente governo Mesa che autorizza a costituire società pubbliche e/o miste per costituire in tempi brevi imprese per l'esportazione di gas naturale, rischia di mandare all'aria tutte le promesse di pace e democrazia che il nuovo governo Morales aveva - ed ha - intenzione di mantenere. La società civile grida allo scandalo, le forze di potere dipartimentali gridano all'autonomia e il governo grida all'incostituzionalità.
